1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the provision of personalized services offered by Qi Institut, specifically customized Ba Zi (Chinese astrology) readings. By placing an order through our website, the customer (“Client”) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

Qi Institut offers several levels of personalized Ba Zi analysis, delivered in PDF format by email.
The following options are available:

(2) Comprehensive Analysis :Includes Essential + personalized health and lifestyle guidance (TCM-based) + one specific question $229 USD

(3) Couple Analysis : Comparative reading of two charts, relational dynamics, compatibility insights $299 USD

(4) Minor (under 16) Adapted version for children (requested by parent or legal guardian) $79 USD (1) Essential / $149 USD (2) Comprehensive

Optional “Specific Question” In-depth answer to one custom question (career, health, relationship) $29 USD

3. Ordering Process

Orders are placed via a secure form hosted on Systeme.io, requiring the following information:

•   First name

•   Date, time, and place of birth

•   Valid email address

Submitting an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Qi Institut is legally registered in France under the micro-entrepreneur regime and, therefore, does not charge VAT, in accordance with Article 293B of the French Tax Code. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

All payments are securely processed through encrypted third-party gateways (Stripe, Apple Pay, or PayPal). Qi Institut does not store any payment information. Local taxes, where applicable, may be collected directly by the payment processor in accordance with your country of residence.

5. Delivery

Reports are delivered in PDF format to the email address provided at checkout.

The standard delivery timeframe is 5 to 10 business days from the date all required information (birth data, specific questions, etc.) is received.   
If the Client delays submitting such information, the delivery timeframe will be extended accordingly.

6. Right of Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Due to the personalized nature of our services, all sales are final once the analysis process has begun.

No refunds will be issued after your order is confirmed and work has started, as each Ba Zi report is custom-created based on your unique birth data.

However, we are committed to client satisfaction. In exceptional cases, partial refunds or service adjustments may be offered at the provider's sole discretion. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you understand the personalized nature of the service and agree not to dispute charges for services rendered, except in cases of proven non-delivery.

7. Personal Data & Privacy Policy

Personal data collected (first name, date/time/place of birth, email) is used exclusively to:

·       Prepare and deliver the purchased analysis

·       Follow up on the service and offer personalized support

·       Share relevant information, updates, or promotions (newsletters, educational content), unless the Client opts out

All data is handled in strict confidence and will never be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties.

In compliance with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR), your data is stored for no longer than necessary for the provision of services and follow-up. It may be processed through secure third-party platforms (e.g., Systeme.io, Stripe, PayPal) solely for technical and transactional purposes.

You may at any time access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, or unsubscribe from email communications via the links provided in our emails or by contacting us directly at the email address listed above.

8. Disclaimer – Traditional, Non-Medical Framework

Qi Institut’s services are based on the traditional Chinese philosophical system known as Ba Zi.

This analysis is intended solely for personal insight and well-being. It does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, nor is it designed to predict the future.

Any recommendations provided are for informational purposes only and should never replace consultation with a licensed healthcare or mental health professional.

9. Minors

Ba Zi readings for minors are offered exclusively upon request by a parent or legal guardian.
No services are provided directly to minors without such consent.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the services provided, or any associated transaction shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in France.

We encourage open and respectful communication prior to any legal action, and we will always seek to resolve issues amicably and in good faith.
